- Manage SATS HK’s Safety section and ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Labour Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance
- Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and day-to-day administration of the SMS throughout SATS HK, including all stations
- Regular review of the all system and operational control procedures in Safety Management System (SMS)
- Ensure that SATS HK SMS is in compliance with latest ISAGO requirements
- Monitor compliance with SMS at both operational and management level
- Maintain risk registry and database of risk assessments
- Perform analysis of safety incidents and propose preventive measures
- Review and revise the Safety Management System Manual
- Coordinate and organize activities/campaigns to promote safety awareness, and targeted at enhancing work safety culture
- Benchmark against industrial best practice and evaluate for adoption and implementation
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with airlines, Airport Authority or other external parties for all aspects of corporate safety
- Assist in planning and implementing safety initiatives
- Any ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management
- Degree holder in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of aviation quality or other related field, preferred with 2 years in managerial level
- Registered Safety Officer in Labour department is preferred but not a must
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Multi-tasking in high pressure and within time constraint
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent command in both written and spoken English
- Independent, well-organized, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Hong Kong Driving License is an advantage
